    changing upload URL


    ok i have a script that uploads a file and puts all the info in a data bace. right now it gives me the local URL as the download URL. i whant to take the eding off say file.zip and put my web addres infront so when they click the Dl buttion they can DL file.zip. i hope you understand what i mean if you need an example i can give you it.

    well i just whent to test it and it dose not work any more it fives me some crap about the <cffile> command. the first time i made this it was on a local PC but i just got a server and moved it on there sooo it might have somthing to do with my server.

    here is the file right now it dose not upload any thing.

    hey BIG CHEESE how did u chage your server PORT i edited the Jrun.XML file

    PHP Code:

        <

        <

    attribute name="activeHandlerThreads">10</attribute>
        <

    but the outside world cant access it, they can only access form the default port, which is 8500, can u tell me how u change the port so taht OUTSIDE world can access it

    AND can u PLEASE tell me how u installed PHP on the coldfusion server, PLEASE, it will really help me, please man, like PHP and MySQL, i tried even with apache, but the outside world cant access it, please man can u help me , i will help u in any way i can, please man

    uhmmmm but how did u install APACHE, i mean i couldnt get it to work, the outside world culdnt access it, by the way, i am talking about installing apache on WINDOWS, thanx man

    dont use apachy V2 if your if you are get any V1. umm i just used the 3DBUZZ VTM's. witch i just deleated of my PC.

    i jsut installed apache version 1.3.27 and the outside world cant access it, when i install it do i game the options, like this is taht right?

    what do u need the VTM's for, lol its kinda confusing me, and after i install apache do i have to do something with it?

    hey man i tried it but its not working, i downloaded this http://mirrors.ccs.neu.edu/Apache/di...x86-no_src.msi and installed it and as u can see in this image, i get the NETWORK DOMAIN as localhost and the SERVER NAME i gave my IP which is 67.85.218.53 it all went good and i can access http://67.85.218.53/ but the outside world cant access it, can u please help me with that
