Arrow Cold Fusion MX on Apache Server

Attempting to connect to Oracle 9i database with Cold Fusion MX installed on Apache Server 1.3.28 and cannot get to the logon screen. Prompts Error Executing Database Query. Can anyone help?

What logon screen? The CF administrator's logon is not database driven.

Question Logon Screen

Oracle Database logon screen on Apache website - it only gets connected intermittently, like after 3 tries

I'm still a bit fuzzy on what exactly you're trying to do or what the problem is. But some advice might be:

Have you created a DSN in the CF administrator to this Oracle instance?

Can you successfully verify that connection?

Can you connect to the instance using SQL*Plus or some other Oracle tool like TOAD?

Other problems could be the DSN settings or network connectivity to the database server (if it's on a separate server).
