Coldfusion conection problem with Microsoft SQL Database

I'm desperate and I realy don't know if this thread should be in the MS SQL forum or this one so I placed it in both. Sorry if this is crossposting

I use CFMX and I created a data source for a remote Microsoft SQL database. I can access the database using MS Access on my local computer but trying to connect to it with Coldfusion gives the following message:

Connection verification failed for data source: HellWebData
[]java.sql.SQLException: Timed out trying to establish connection The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: Timed out trying to establish connection

Can somebody please tell me what i'm doing wrong because I can't find the right answer

donboe, if I were you, I would remove your database login information right now before someone wipes out your database or at least really screws it up.
It may be an authentication issue.
