ColdFusion Includes
Can ColdFusion includes point to third party server HTML file?
One of my client wants to serve it's own HTML template file, so I will only be in charge of the body content and they can update the wrapper as necessary. He suggested using JavaScript Includes, but I didn't like the idea... |

CF can include any file that can be named with a UNC path, so things like mapped network drives or server shares are usable. If you need to get an HTML file from a remote server you should look into web services or CFHTTP.
