You don't need a fax machine to get faxes. Get a fax-to-email fax number from CallWave. Try it free.

I've always worked with SQL databases, but at this new job, they have all their info in an AS-400... can you guys help me out with this. This is my first time working with AS-400, so I'm pretty much lost.
Any information would help. |

As far as i know you can't web enable an AS-400 database. I'm not 100% sure on this but I have need of AS-400 data here at work from time to time as well and I end up having to import it into SQL Server before I can do anything with it.

Nowadays just about anything is possible. A Google search for "ColdFusion AS-400" yields numerous hits. Does this help: http://www.sys-con.com/coldfusion/a...rint.cfm?id=687

CFgirl,
you can connect to the AS/400 thru client access. does your web server have a connection to the 400? if so, you should be able to connect the CF server to the 400. I've successfully done it before. |
