Exclamation ColdFusion with AS-400

I've always worked with SQL databases, but at this new job, they have all their info in an AS-400... can you guys help me out with this. This is my first time working with AS-400, so I'm pretty much lost.

Any information would help.

As far as i know you can't web enable an AS-400 database. I'm not 100% sure on this but I have need of AS-400 data here at work from time to time as well and I end up having to import it into SQL Server before I can do anything with it.

CFgirl,

you can connect to the AS/400 thru client access. does your web server have a connection to the 400? if so, you should be able to connect the CF server to the 400. I've successfully done it before.
