Display Excel Chart within ColdFusion page
I got a problem with ColdFusion 5's <CFGRAPH> which cannot display multi-line chart (ColdFusion MX's <CFCHART> works, but we still not move on to MX).
Therefore I am thinking to display Excel's chart on ColdFusion page, hopefully within the ColdFusion HTML page, not like export to Excel. Please help. 1. How can I read (import) an Excel file to ColdFusion page? 2. What kind of code can tell Excel to display Chart format, not table data? Thanks in advance. |

You can't, and this is a browser limitation not a ColdFusion issue. The only way you could display an Excel file *within* an HTML page would be some sort of Active-X control or Java applet.
