how to host CF sites?

Can someone tell me and my team how we host cf sites. We have both a windows server and linux server and I am not sure what has to be installed to make this work. Can someone please lead me in the right direction.

I imagine it is as simple as just installing some extensions but any help on this is well needed. Thanks

You need to purchase and install the ColdFusion MX Server. Macromedia's web site has full details.
