I currently do not have a domain...

so my game address is my ipaddress:8500/login.cfm

what can i do to stop people from going to ipaddress:8500 and view all my files and database? i've tried looking into permissions.. but i do not understand exactly, can someone please please give me a step by step? :S

You might be able to do this by modifying the web.xml file, but I'm not sure. You're using the internal web server which is only meant for development use, it lacks features found in real web servers like IIS and Apache, and may not allow disabling directory browsing. My advice would be to use a real web server if you want to let outside users access the server.
