i did not get the custom tag wizard in msvc++6.0 after installing cold fusion MX 6.1

hi everybody,

I want to built a cfx tag in c++ using vc++.
After installing cold fusion mx 6.1 on my system i didn't get the cold fusion custom tag wizard into my wizards list, when i open new projects.
In the macromedia support, they wrote that the cold fusion wizard will be added to my vc++6.0 wizard list by default upon
installing cold fusion mx 6.1.

freinds, is there any problem with this wizard installation.
What else should i do to properly install the cfxapi tag development kit.

thanking you in advance,
kishore...

This is so specific that I'm thinking you'll need to ask on the Macromedia forums. I haven't written a c++ custom tag in years...now that we have the entire Java API available I just whip up a Java class to do things that go beyond the built-in CFML tags.

i think the problem will be solved if I shift to java api's.
But i have developed a complete application in vc++
which i need to produce to the client as a custom tag in cold fusion.
so, it will be better for me if you or anyone else can tell me
the way to get this cfxapi tag development kit installed.

thanking you for your valuable advices,

kishore

hi ,
please tell me where the problem is?

I have got a solution in the macromedia FAQ.
if the cold fusion wizard doesn't get installed , they told to place the file(which i downloaded)

cfxwiz_vc50.awx in the
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\MSDev98\Template
folder.

I did the same and got the wizard added to my vc++ projects section.

But while opening a new project in vc++6.0 with cold fusion custom wizard,
after entering the custom tag name and description in the fields and clicking on the Finish button , the wizard stops with an error message like:

Windows NT error number 0 occured while attempting to access the registry.

please tell me how to solve this problem....

thank you in advance,
kishore
