Need help reinstalling ColdFusion MX
I need help reinstalling CFMX. I don't know why I am having such a problem. It goes through the set up process and stops. Windows installer message comes pops up and saying coldfusionMX.msi is unavailable or on a network resource ect... I don't know why this is. I am on my home computer on Windows XP. I am the only user. No network. I have the CD. I clicked on the installer. How could I be missing it? I have installed it before.

Try redownloading and reinstalling. Also, is your firewall blocking the port that CF is using (8500 is the default for standalone).
To be honest though, I've never seen such a problem and I've installed CFMX dozens of times.
