setting up coldfusion
i have a simple laptop running windows xp and am currently wanting to intergrate dreamweaver with coldfusion mx 6.1. can this be simply installed on windows xp or does it need another platform setup for it to run on? Also does my laptop have to have an internet connection for coldfusion mx 6.1 to function properly?
excuse my vagueness on this subject i only know about dreamweaver and am gifted at all types of html but am wanting to expand my abilities.Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. many thanks |

This is all in the documentation. You can install it locally and you don't need a web server or an internet connection, there is an option for a fully self-contained installation that uses port 8500. For full details please read the docs.
