Sound and video question
Hello everyone: I would like to know if there is a way to detect the user's microphone and webcam with coldfusion.

No web application server (ColdFusion or otherwise) can access the user's hardware or system information. This is deliberate and by design, and if it were not this way it would be a gigantic security hole. The only way to do this is with an ActiveX control, a Java applet, a Flash movie, or something similar.
