Red face starting stopping serverdoc
ok how would i go about emulating what the serverdoc dll does which is starting and stopping servers?? i mean is there a way to send command lines to a dll file through cf and have it excecute the command lines right?? i know this is a bit vague but this is something i really havent done before. I know im gonna use cfhttp to send the commands to a remote server with cf where the server is going to excecute those commands. now what im lost on is what tag to use to start the dll and have it excecute the commands....

I don't know anything about serverdoc. But you can execute command line statements by using cfexecute.

no this is actully for a friend who wants to be able to give his customers the ability to start/stop servers.

Is there a way to use code to start and stop a server? I am creating a wizard to do build deploys and I need to be able to stop the server, start it right up and activate the changes. Is there code to do this? I am using PHP...
