Question Starting with existing CF site ... how to?
I have to continue a CF website, so I downloaded the complete site/application from the server.

But ... what is the best way to start editing the site/application?

Should I just use DreamWeaver or ColFusion Builder or ...

Notepad++ with the nppColdfusion plugin. You can get the plugin here. You can also use Eclipse with the CFEclipse plugin.

CFBuilder is the best IDE if you can afford $299. Other options are CFEclipse and Intellij IDEA.

If you're new, you'll definitely have to read through the documentation or read one or more of the CF Web Application Construction Kit books. No one is really going to be able to tell you how to "start editing the application" because every application is different and it depends on what you need to do.
