studio mx question
apart from price is there any advantage, in terms of functionality, to buying Dreamweaver and ColdFusion separately as opposed to buying Studio MX

Some people don't want Dreamweaver but want CF.
If you're asking about Studio, Studio generally comes with DW, Flash, Fireworks and sometimes Freehand. It's not just a couple of apps. |

If you aren't going to use the other things included in Studio MX (like Fireworks, etc.) then either just by Dreamweaver MX or use something like CFEclipse (which is free).

I thought that Studio also incluided ColdFusion, the other apps would be nice to have but I would primarily use DW and CF

No, Studio MX does not include a license for ColdFusion. Studio is for development tools only. ColdFusion is an application server (like JRun or Flex).
