Success message after file download?
I have a page that allows users to output a table of information in several different ways: email, printer-friendly, save to word perfect, save to PDF.
The two "save to" options work the way they should -- user is given the option of saving to a specific file name and path on his/her computer. But after the download/save is complete, the user is returned simply to the four-options page he/she came from. Is there a way to confirm for the user that the download/save worked, with some kind of success message? --diane |

I'm not sure you can do this easily, it's really a browser issue. You might try having a cflocation fire after the download is done and show them a message there, but I'm not sure that will work as I don't know if CF "knows" when the file is finished downloading.
