250G HDD durability
I would buy the top size HDD.
is it as durable as smaller ones? |

You'll want to check the service life and warranty duration, but I don't think there is a reason the large drive would be inherently less reliable than the smaller capacity.

If there is, the thing large and have one high density disk and one which have 2 disks that is about same as small one. If you feel like small one's durability. Select 2 disk type theoretically.
But if you pursue durability, you should consider SCSI. In any ways you must be prepared to have it broken in time or anytime. |
