Unhappy 3Com Wi-Fi Card Not Accessing WEP Enabled AP

This is a strange problem and I hope someone can help.

I have a 3Com (3CRWE737A) Wi-Fi card, but it's NO LONGER connecting to the Linksys Wireless AccessPoint we have in the office. It used to work, but now it doesn't.

I noticed that ANY machine running Windows XP basically switches their "Network Authentication" from OPEN to SHARED and it works. The WEP isn't the problem, but I don't seem to have this "Network Authentication" option in Windows 2000. I've searched the card properties, but nothing seems to work.

At home, I don't have WEP or anything else going - just a simple OPEN system and everything works fine. Any suggestions?
