Post AMD or not to be?

I am not too sure weather to get the AMD anothlon 64bit prosessor or the intell 2.8GNz one....

I HEARD AMD is not reliable, breaks down a bit...

But i am not too sure..

The 64's would be faster, but cost more. Haven't heard any reliability problems, but be sure you have the cooling and power to support it.

I have had AMD in multiple computers, went with AMD because of the price. It's been reliable for me, and I will go with AMD with my next upgrade!

You get what you pay for, when building a computer try to spend as much as you can! Don't overpay for a piece, but the more you put in now, the longer it will last you.

I wouldn't bother. Intel's will probably be considerably more expensive, as nowadays AMDs can offer the same performance of Intel for much less money...
