amd xp amd 64bit processor good for adobe premiere
so i am considering buying a new computer mainly for digital video editing and gaming
what is a better processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.0 512k Amd 64 3200 Amd XP 3200 any feedback would be grealty appreciated |

Hiya
The important fact here is can you get a 64-bit version of "Adobe Premiere" if yes then a 64-bit cpu would be very useful but there again they are costly and the 64-bit version of windows is still a bit buggy so is it worth all the money ? A lot of people like to use Intel chips for video editing mainly for the slight temperature difference, I personally prefer AMD cpu's as Pentiums are double the price for the sake of 5ºc also remembering the pentium clock cycle consists of only 3 bits whereas the AMD clock cycle consists of 4 bits. At the end of the day its your choice, although if you insist on 64-bit I would wait a few months for it. ~Hot-Stuff~ |
