Any one selling 1GB PC2100 SODIMMs?
My business partner purchased a new 12.1" Powerbook last week that came with the base 256MB of ram and he wants to boost it to its max 1.2GB capacity.
Well, the Apple dealer in town sucks and no Mac users I know of like to deal with them if they don't have too. Plus they want an exorbant price to install a 1GB SODIMM, like $800. I imagine the cost of one of these chips are proably about $300 - 400, but the largest I can find are 512MB. My problem is I can't seem to locate one at any online stores. Crucial isn't selling, Tigerdirect, PCmall, MacMall, etc. So anyone know where I can find a 1GB DDR PC2100 SODIMM?
