What does Barton mean when it comes to cpu's??

The way I understand it, every CPU core has a cute little name. Intel has names like coppermine, tiluatin. AMD has cute little names like Barton, Thunderbird. Maybe an analogy is like BMW cars. They have 3-series, 5-series, etc. Within each family are cars (chips) of increasing cost and performance.

Barton has with 256K cache L2 more than old athlon xp core (code name)
