Beep warnings- help!

I just got my new computer and it was fun putting it together and when the moment of truth came it didnt work. When i turn it on i get 3 long beeps. Ive looked at sites with beep warnings and none of them helped... and i came here hoping you guys could help me out.

OK,
The beeps mean different things with different BIOSs.
Ive got these 3 out of my MotherBoard's Manual:

AWARD BIOS - Continous Long Beeps:
DRAM Error

AWARD BIOS - Continous Short Beeps:
Power Error

AMI BIOS - 3 Beeps:
Base 64K Memory Failure

You'll need to find out what BIOS you have, its probably either one of them or PHOENIX BIOS. They're the 3 Main BIOSs at the moment I think. If you have one of those BIOSs, try fixing the error if possible. Good Luck!

an easy way to look up your beep codes is to check the manual that came with your mainboard. it will have all the necessary information on beepcodes, then come back and tell us what the beep code means.
