(^^;?(Western Digital again? They seems to have idiosyncrasies.)

You cannot but change connections and jumper settings.

If the bios can't recognize it, There's no way. You have the right to complain of it to the vendor.

(^^;?(CD?)

Do the same thing, Or You can't boot from CD? Then make sure that in bios CD boot is enabled.

are you sure you just aren't overclocking it too much maybe you forgot to up the Vcore enough. cuz that's the same thing that happened to my system the first time i overclocked with only 6% increase in vcore...had to go up another 6% before windows would load. before that the dmi pool screen would show up and then black screen

?(I can't make out well yet. But the problem isn't CD.)

Power Wattage? No floppy?

Make CD-ROM one only, of course clock down it, remove surplus memory. no peripherals.

Then give it a go.

ok its not the floppy and not the wattage. If i were to turn the wattage UP the only that would run is the fans. Heh... Whenever the cd should be booting it starts to wind up then stops. I have a 56x cd drive. Im not sure about the over clocking because i wasnt at first. then i tried 6 then 10 then 12... all the way up to 30. so i have no idea what it is. Hmm thanx alot for all the help

If you are overclocking, reset the bios to default settings (ie, stop overclocking).
Check all your cable connections and jumper settings.
Check that your cpu fan is running and the heatsink is attached firmly.
Push a key on the keyboard when it says "booting from cd", in case it needs an input.
What power supply are you using? (wattage)
Remove all peripherals, as megumi said.
Can you get into the BIOS?
FYI: 3200+ has a 2.2ghz clock speed, not 3.2ghz.

itns only freezing there because the floppy drive is set to load first so i set it for the cdrom b/c thats where windows xp is being installed of of. and now it freezes at booting from cd again.

Are you using a legal copy of xp? Can you try using a different OS or cd?
