CD Drive disaapears during Win XP installation
I am trying to install WinXP. I am able to boot to WinXP cd and start the setup. But sometime before the completion of the installation it stops seeing the cd drive and hence can't copy files from the cd and installation fails. Does anybody have an answer for this? I have tried different cd drives, differend operating system cds. It doesn't always fail at the same point. It varies everytime.
