changing graphics memory through bios
I own a win 98 system with 700mhz processor 128mb ram 4mb inegrated graphics card and 40gig hd. I have heard that on an integrated graphics card it is possibe to allocate extra ram to it by changing settings in the bios. If this is possible could someone please explain how I can do so.

(^~;?(How do we know this? We don't know what bios your board is usin'.)
And it cannot always share the memory. Consult your manual or the maker's home page. But if possible, there should be the item in Bios. |

You'll have to look in the manual/find what bios you have. Either way, I would say its hardly worth the trouble. You don't have a very fast setup, and quadrupling the video ram at the expense of system memory won't help you do much of anything. It should be possible to change the memory allocated to graphics, but I don't know why you want to.
