classic problem with an old ball mouse
i have the classic problem that all ball mouses give after some months of use, it doesn't roll very well in left/right direction, what can i do apart from dropping it to the trasher????

For the time being, try to put it before a cat at least. If the cat give out the paw, this proves it to be alive. Then pick it up from the cat, and clean it thoroughly. It should runs well. |

R++,
not sure where you are coming from, so I'll ask the obvious. Have you unscrewed the plate on the bottom that holds the ball in place, removed and cleaned the ball, and cleaned the rollers in the chamber around the ball using a Q-tip or toothpick and alcohol? |
