I have a 4 year old Compaq Armada.
I turned it off the other day and came back to turn it on, but no go. The battery light flashes a few times when i try to turn it on.. I took out the battery and powered off the mains but no go either please tell me someone else has had the same problem and they've solved it!!! ![]() |

Have you tried cleaning the contact points between the battery and where it connects to the computer? Once you have done this, put the battery back in and plug in the AC. Wait a little while and try turning it on again.

check the fuse in the wall plug, if the ac power light ony flashes a few times it might be blown.
I assuming you have tried it without the battery, direct from teh mains and it is still no go, which means possibly the on board fuse could be gone as well, if you feel adventerous you could try and replace this yourself, but first try the socket. |
