Computer doesn't start : what can be the causes ???
Hi,
someone's computer just suddenly stopped loading completely : it comes up to the enter password screen, and as soon as the password is entered, there is this usual timer image that tells you things are loading, but the computer doesn't go any further... What can the potential problems be? What can I try doing?? Thanks a lot, Manojo

Are you able to boot in safe mode at all?
Can you also please post some more information about the computer. Things like what operating system and network settings would be of benefit.

Hi,
sorry for taking your time  . Actually, the problem was quite easy to resolve : I didn't know that the computer I was looking at was so old : Having a very low RAM, the comp wasn't able to start just because there was a CD inside....Anyway, Thanks a lot, Manojo
