Arrow computer monitor

for some reason i cant get my monitor to work with my system.... the monitor works... because i have tested it on other systems... it all happend when i woke up this morning tried turning on the computer and boom... i get a message on the monitor that says "Self test, your monitor is working properly please check your cable, or pc" my system turns on but the monitor would not switch to windows view.. it just stays with that message... i dont even get an error beep ( not even one ) im running on a amd 1700+ system does anyone knows what is up? has this ever happend to anyone? i removed the bios jumper removed the battery and still nothing... anyone has any hints for this?

Maybe something happened to your GPU? Try booting from a system CD if you can and see if you still have the problem. If you do it's software related, if not it's the hardware.
