Question Connect a base unit to a laptop

Hi,

I have recently purchased a base unit without a monitor, and I would like to connect this to my laptop so I can view the output on the laptop screen, is this possible to do? I know I can do the reverse i.e. use a monitor cable to connect laptop to another monitor and view output there, but by connecting a monitor cable into my laptop I don't think I could view the base unit's output.

Any help would be appreciated.

i think you would have better luck using s-video or composite video. The VGA is out only, your other posts might work. Check the manual or specs to see if its VIVO.
