My desktop case has 2 USB ports in front. It has 2 set of wires which marked VCN, +, -, GND ( 8 loose wires not grouped as a single adapter ) for connecting to the extra USB port on the motherboard. However, there are 10 pins on the motherboard. Which wire correspond with which pin? Which 2 pins do I skip?

this would depend on your motherboard, if you dont have the manual, download it from the mfg web site, if you have trouble finding the pin connector layout, post the name and model number of your board, will see if i can find it.

It's not mentioned on the mannual, so I ask the mfgr thru email. I got the pin layout today and I got it working now. Thanks!
