connectivity issues (possible modem?)

for starts, I have DSL, and it is connected straight into the modem... No router, and it is hardwired, not wireless...for some strange reason, i have a little icon in my tray that says that i have little or no connectivity... yet in that same little pop up it says i am connected at 100.0 Mbps... then the icon next to it says im connected at 10.0 Mbps... what the hell is going on!? Thank you in advance for your help!

I had this same problem with SP2. I uninstalled it.

Your best bet is to do the same. Wait until mid 2005 before installing SP2 in a productive enviroment. Or an enviroment that uses the internet. SP2 might be designed to protect you from the evils of the internet, but that doesn't do any good if you can't get to it
