DDR upgrade advice needed
Hi everyone - I have an Aopen AK86-l Athlon 64 motherboard and i was wondering what was my best option for a ram upgrade. Right now i just have one 512 chip of PC-3200 and i was looking to replace it with a couple of new sticks. Also can someone explain how I can take advantage of dual channel memory best? Do i need registered ram or what? Thanks for your help.

I would say just get another stick of whatever you have currently. I don't think your board/cpu can run dual channel, so thats not an issue. There's no need for faster ram or anything, so I would just get another 512 of whatever you have now.
