Dead Dell Laptop Hard drive
A friend at work as a Dell Inspiron 8200 Laptop just over a year old. About 6 months ago his hard drive went missing. It wouldn't spin up so he gave the laptop a firm rap and that got the hard drive spinning again. Things were fine until last week when the hard drive went missing again. The laptop boots but gives a missing hard drive error message. He's trying wacking it, heating it, and even stuck in the freezer but can't get the hard drive to spin up. He wants to get it working again so he can recover some data on the hard drive. Any ideas?
