display problem on laptop

Hi, first of all sorry i didnt know where to put thi spost so i put it here

I was messing around with my laptop yesterday, i was in the 'settings' tab of the properties menu and i made some changes to the display and now there is nothing being displayed just ablack screen when windows loads, i know its still working because of the windows noise.

Anyway does anybody know how i can get my display setting back.

Appreciate any help guys n gals

Did you set it to use an external monitor but dont have one hooked up? Usaully there is a funtion key and a toggle key to switch back and forth on my laptop its FN + F4

Boot into Safe Mode and set it back.
