Dropbox won't uninstall...major help!
I need to uninstall dropbox for two reasons.
1. I don't use it, so it takes up space.
2. I've been getting weird computer crashes due to some program not installed right. Most times these crashes happen during a shutdown, but got it recently where I just lagged.
Either, won't hurt to get this program uninstalled.
I try to uninstall it and it asks for a username and password...
I don't even know if I used a username or password?
I am the computer administrator and it won't let unstall it.
I do "run as admin" and it just runs the program and asks me to login/register.
How do I remove this from my computer?

Have you ever signed up for DropBox acct?
If so, that is the user/pass it is asking for.
You should still be able to uninstall without having that info, by going to Add/Remove programs [Start>Run>>appwiz.cpl]

I don't remember anything about dropbox..if I registered or didn't.
Just won't uninstall.

that screencap is telling you that you don't have the proper PC user permissions to uninstall [which means you are running your PC with a limited-user acct.] and is asking if you want to "run" the uninstaller using a User with Administrative permissions. [namely "Administrator"]. Most of the time Administrator acct has no password unless one is set.

What about the username?
If all else fails..any way to crack in?
