(^^;(Great!)
According to their story, it contains small partition (probably like, Compaq F10 setup) which includes finger-print data and password. It is non-accessible, but you can add the finger-print data. If I need to steal your data, I must try to break this patition. There must be the way to do this, because if the data on this partition is corrupted, or you forget your password, or your finger' wounded or lost, the vendor must repair this. That the vendor prepare the method or not is a great dillenma. In any way, it is an interesting idea to put the one of bootsector virus in the patition or if not directly, the virus might be eager to reach the bootsector by USB cable from my infected HD. Because there is no antivirus, and even if it exist, I could kill it and help the virus. |

not what i asked for
hello and thanks for the response.. but i was not particularly looking for info on virus and boot partition..
all i want 2 know is what people on this forum think about this device and the usefulness of it the whole idea of this clipdrive seems to be that you can encrypt your data on a single usb drive with built in encryption etc.. and no one can access your data unless u have your unique biometric identity with you..in this case your fingers again the link is URL regards |

(^^;?(You said "any comments")
If you want to know what you want, then you should explain why you think it is useful and for what purposes with some practical examples. Then, readers happen to think of their situations. Even the diamond on the path would not be noticed among the stones. For my concern, such a device is telling itself "This contains very impotant files" |
