Error : no speaker on the Tsunami case.

Hi,

I received all my pieces today for my new computer, I assembled everything.

I turn on the computer, and nothing show up on the screen (yes it's plugged). The keyboard do not have power also. And the power-button don't close the computer so I need to shut it down via the power-supply but it's start correctly and reset switch also work.

The tower is lack of speaker wiring so I can't know if there is a beep error on something (video card or other).
How can I resolve this problem !?

please email me at watever_4@yahoo.ca if you know the answer.

ok let me help you with a diagnostic.

1. open up your computer and sit CLOSE to it. very close

2. turn it on via the front switch, after it's plugged in and the power device switch is on (if it has one).

Q: do the fans in the computer turn on and spin?
if they do then you have power to the PC
if not then your PC is not getting power - this means the power supply is damaged.

Let us know the answer.

Yes they turn, the computer is getting power.
Sorry I should have said earlier.

the motherboard, green light is flashing. So it's suppose to work, but I know sometimes that it,s have power, it's run but not correctly but all those can be know when you have the speaker :S !

the hard-drive, the dvd burner-reader, does have power and the led light up. When I click on the switch, it's turn off and light up again.

ok so basically, you aren't getting anything on screen to see what's happening - and you have no beeping to tell either....

what about the monitor, have you used this monitor on another PC and know it works?

maybe it is the video card or the monitor. if you can try another monitor, or try this monitor on another video card this could identify a possible problem.

let me ask you this too...

normally when you have your monitor ON but plugged in to nothing - it displays some kind of notice like "no device plugged in". does it do this when it's unplugged.

if it does, then when you put it into the PC and then turn the PC does this message go away

if the message does go away, then it is realizing the computer is ON, but nothing is being sent to it.

if the monitor and vid card are both testably good - then i cannot think of a way to tell what's wrong.

if the video card is a PCI card, try another PCI slot

When it's not connected, it's says "no signal, verify the cables". When you plug it it's goes away (even when the computer is turned off).

I also tryed to put the special adaptor for the lcd screen or for a second monitor and the samething happens.

Also the keyboard lights do not flash or seems to work either. But it did it once when I put the power on, don't know why it doesn't do it always.
didn,t verify for the mouse.

ok I verify something.

when I turn the power-supply on, the mouse and the keyboard are getting power cause the light up for milli-seconds. But when I boot the computer via the power-button, nothing happens , they do not light up and don't know if they shoudl.

You still haven't isolated the problem.

You need to try your monitor on another computer and see if it works.

Next, if it DOES work on another PC, you need to try another video card IN the broken PC.

If that works, then your probably is VERY hard to isolate. you will next need to try another one of each of these at a single time to figure it out

1. RAM
2. HDD

If these doesn't show you the issue, then your issue must be very deep in the mobo/processor.

ultimately what you should do is return it and replace it. get a return on each piece you bought that COULD be the probaly, all the ram and mobo and procoessor.
