FireWire 800 to FireWire 400

If I use a cable that goes from FireWire 800 to FireWire 400 will that cause a significant decrease in transfer speed?

I found my own answer actually.

If anyone wants to know, FireWire800 is 800Mbps, while the FireWire400 is 400Mbps. Therefore you will lose 400Mbps available transfer.
