Question Hard Drive Question, Dynamic/Basic???

HI, Maybe you can shed some light on this issue:

My Current Spec is as follows:

Chieftec Scorpio Blue TX-10 BLD Midi Case
450W CWT + SATA Quiet Dual fan AMD/P4 App Active Fan Control & Active PFC
MSI K7N2 Delta-L nForce-2 400FSB 8xAGP+Lan+6chSound+USB2 onboard
AMD "Retail" Athlon XP2600+ 400FSB(2.08Ghz) with AMD Heatsink + fan
2x 512Mb PC3200 (PC400) DDR Memory (major) Running in Dual Mode
MSI GForce-4 Ti4200 VTD 8xAGP 128Mb DDR with TV-Out
Creative Labs Inspire 2.1 2400 Speakers
LG DVDROM IDE
LG CDRW IDE
1x 80Gb Maxtor 7200rpm 2Mb Cache ATA-133 Quite Drive Technology
1x 120Gb Seagate Barracuda 7200.7
1x Cooler Master 80mm Blue Neon LED fan (in front)
2x Cooler Master 80mm Red Neon LED fan (in Rear)
1x Antec 80mm Blue Neon LED fan (in side-panel)
1x 9" OPTIX Blue CCL in front door.
1x 4" OPTIX Blue CCL in bottom front bezel.
Windows XP Pro SP1, Cracked 'n' Tweaked.

When i installed the 120Gb Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 and went into Computer Management/Disk Management Console it said it had detected the new drive and asked me if i would i like to convert it (Option:YES) but did not give me another option (i.e. NO). Now the drive shows up as DYNAMIC in Disk Management, which i have been told will cause some performance overheads. Is there a way to convert it back to BASIC from Dynamic.

If anyone else has experienced this with their system please let me know.
TIA.
