Hardware Compatibility Comfirmation
I'm looking to do a major upgrade of my PC, and have looked on URL for my best deals. I'm pretty sure what I've got in mind is compatible with each other, but I figured I'd let someone else take a look at it and make sure, befor eI spen the $500+ on the components:
Motherboard
-A7N8X AMD Athlon/Duron/XP, Socket A, ATX, 3GB DDR-SDRAM, 333MHz FSB
(Pricegrabber.com URL: URL)
Processor
-Athlon XP 2600+ (2.13GHz, 256KB, 333MHz, Socket A)
(Pricegrabber.com URL: URL)
RAM
Corsair 1GB PC2700 DDR333 DIMM
(Pricegrabber.com URL: URL)
Also, as this is my first go at actually putting a Processor on a motherboard, is it a good idea to buy seprate and if so, what kind of equipment is required to put one on?
All help and alternatives are welcome and greatly appreciated.
