Yeah.. My PC used to shut down again and again too... everytime I hit the power button, or select Shut Down.

To correct this problem, you need to quit doing either of the above mentioned.... Solved my problem.

while talking about computer hardware, there are two main reasons for computer shutting down. one is smps and the other is fan.

There may be many reasons behind this. the main reason is faulty RAM. so check it.
