HD not detected by my pc

I disassembled/reassembled the computer and now the monitor is giving me this message VIDEO CABLE CONNECTED? what to do

Clear the CMOS ... switch the jumper to clear ... pull out the battery ... wait a couple minutes ... put the battery back switch the jumper back and fire it up. This is the first step to take when you run into problems like this.
