I'm planning to make some club t-shirts which include the text logo for our club! The instructions specify " Make sure that you have selected "T-shirt transfer",Mirror","Flip", or "Reverse" in your application,so that the image will be printed backwards. If there is no text in your image, you may not have to reverse your image." Inasmuch as my transfers involve text and a logo, I need to reverse the image I'll be getting from my scanner. Some transfer will also include people's faces ,which also have to be reversed to iron onto the T-shirts correctly!Tom Myboy has helped me a lot in the past! I'm a charter member of the Dana Point Kayak Fishing Mafia, located in Dana Point ,California. The logo is for our kayak fishing club. Thanks for helping. teacher4u.

You print the images (and text) backwards onto the provider transfer sheets (I presume you have a t-shirt transfer pack, so it should have come with some sheets to print on). They are backwards, so you put them ink-side down on t-shirt, and iron. This will reverse the image/text, so that is why you need them reversed to start off with. I hope this makes sense

I've printed Tshirt transfers on my old deceased Epson 440. You don't change anything with the printer. You need to make the changes in your graphics program. What graphics program are you using?

The only thing you might want to change on the printer (which is probably unimportant) is the paper type- the transfer papers are usually thicker than normal paper, but that doesnt really matter.

Still confused!
First -red hot sheep. I understand your logic, but you can't print a copy of text+ logo directly on to the transfer, flip the copy over, and iron it on! You'd get the same thing you see if you hold up a sheet of text and look into a mirror at it. That's why it has to be reversed before you make the copy. Then when you lay it on the T-shirt, it prints a correct text image. It looks backward on the transfer sheet ,but comes out correct on the t-shirt. I think Lenny understands this issue. Lenny,I'm using my CanoScan N1240U scanner. Is there a way to just scan it into memory, use the scanner software to reverse the image, and then print the copy out in the reversed (mirror image) format?Thank you! Teacher4u.

Success!
Devshed ,You may close this post! I was able to import my image into my Camedia Photo software and use the EDIt,and IMAGE functions to successfully invert(flip!) the image to create an iron-on transfer! Thank you!
