HP Laptop Power Pack VERY HOT - Normal?

Hey i have been playing on my laptop for a few hours at a time recently and when I pick up the power pack it is very very warm, almost hot to touch.

Is this normal?

it is... some get hotter than others. However it's unusal for it to be too hot to touch.

Well not too hot too touch, that is an exaggeration maybe, but rather warm that's for sure.
