installing old harddrive?
Hi there,
I have a computer with 10GB harddrive with windows98 on it. And what iwant to do is install my old 40GB harddrive, which has two partistions on it (C: os and programs - D: music) Now what im not sure about is that currently the computer is using C: for the 10GB drive and D: of CDROM So before i install the 40GB harddrive I would like to know what will happen? will it rename the c: and D: or remove the partistions so ill have a harddrive with 40GB of data that can not be accessed but because it has lost the partistions. Sorry about the spelling but its the internet you dont need to know how to spell. Thanks Owen,

When you put it in, i think you can rename the partitions from the disk manager.
