Is DDR2 an excellent memory?

Hello Guys,
I have recently joined this forum just beacuse of some issues which are colliding in my mind..
Actually I want to know that Is DDR2 an excellent memory for automotive and industrial to server, consumer, networking, and computing?

Server? Not really. It used to be acceptable, but I'd go with much newer technologies if you are getting into buying it anyways. Bottom line, a Server is NOT where you'd want to scrimp on cheap parts.

For server I don't think so but for computing it is a perfect RAM. Generally many of the hardware engineers prefer DDR2.

AdamPI disagrees: I disagree only because I can't imagine they would prefer DDR2 over DDR3 today. 5 years ago DDR3
wasn't out yet.

yes, you are saying right..but nowadays,Dolgix DDR3 RAM is going on..and DDR2 RAM is on demand of customers.

DDR2 is good,but now 1600MHz DDR3 RAM become more popular.
