Hey bowser!

Is CMOS detecting your new drive properly? What make/model of drive is it and what is your OS?

But is CMOS (BIOS) detecting your drive properly? Tap DEL when first booting or hold down shift. Is it set to AUTO detect or do you have a drive listed that matches your drive?

Bowser,

Look in device manager (using your mouse obviously) for resource conflicts between your hard drive and keyboard. Is there a problem with the IRQ the keyboard is using? Is there a problem with the I/O address range used?
