Hi
I recently installed Windows XP pro on my partner's laptop (it was previously running xp home). Prior to the reinstall, it was using a belkin wireless pcmcia card, but since the reinstall I cannot get the system to detect the card for love nor money. I know the card works as I have tried it in another laptop. When I insert the card into the slot, the machine beeps three times, but neither the lights on the card, or the hardware detection wizard start. Any help appreciated - it'll save my relationship! |

Hello Samuel4u,
Still have the CD that came with the belkin wireless pcmcia card? If so, pop it in your cddrive, run the CD, install the drivers. Because i'm thinking that you've probably just forgotten to run that software again. If you cant find the CD, post back with all of the information for the card, so I can find you a driver online. |
